The Challenge:The 90 Day War

So as the school day readily approaches, I have weighed myself out to an approx. 200 pounds! Because of this uncannily even weight, I have decided to dedicate myself to the most vicious war my body will ever take: the 90 day challenge... 90 days of transformation by all means necessary; a much needed change. My goal is to be as healthy as possible, with no risk entailed. Interestingly enough, my healthy weight for a girl of my size is 140. So I need to lose 60 pounds. To help me through this I have decided to blog my hardest journey. Every day will be a struggle but hopefully a benefit. I plan on writing down every detailed thought that passes through my mind however small or big. Is it possible to lose 60 pounds in 90 days with a busy schedule as mine? I'm going to put this question to the test. The plan? It all begins with the basics, which I tend not to follow... Food, in its correct proportions, and time of eating.

Then there is the physical exertion, in addition to the mental tasks I have. My plan is to subject myself to a 1600 cal diet which will be broken off into 5 meals throughout the day, breakfast being the largest protein intake, and the extra 4 meals being fibrous with larger portions of vegetables and snacks of fruit. Due to my irritable acne problem, sweets are out of the game if not by natural means such as fresh fruits. Fried foods are out too... My hardest struggle.

But at least I'll hit too birds at once, my acne should be clearing up within this challenge. Water is be a main highlight of my diet, 2 glass with every meal so 10 glasses a day, as is recommended. As for working out, I plan on doing cardio (treadmill, staircase) for an hour and 30 min of muscular (focusing on my core abs) 4 times a day. The other 3 days I shall take a break from the exercise but will cut my calorie count to 1400, since I will not be burning as much. If I can pull this off for 90 days, I would reach a life time goal, hence why all the documentation. I know there will be times I will falter, but that just means I must try even harder. I am putting myself to the test, and I plan on beating this through, just to make dent in this short lived legacy of mine.

As irrelevant as this may seem now, "200 Pounds of Beauty" is one of my favorite Korean comedy movies... About a girl who makes a transformation from being obese to skinny, but with the help of surgery. I'm doing this the natural and hard way, hence the challenge.
