Brigandy On The World: Introduction

This is a story based off a recurring/continuing dream. Its set in the rich countryside of England, within a steampunk society. The moral code, dress, and traditions of society remain early 19^th century, where as cars and other mobile transportation, communication, and technology are advanced to about the 1950s. The story takes place at the Haddinger family estate in the countryside of northern England, where a young maidservant witnesses the destruction of her home, the family she was raised with, and society as a whole due to a hostile bombing and invasion from alien sources. She survives this apparent apocalypse and vows to take care of the young lord who too lost everything. She travels the unknown world with him in search for his young pregnant wife and encounters many dangers along the way. Finally, when it seems their search has come to an end, things turn out more sinister than ever before…
