The mystic four in Arthurian legend: Morgan, Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot. This is one of the greatest dramas ever told. Both Arthur and Lancelot are in love with Guinevere, while Morgan is left out of this trio. Morgan is madly in love with Lancelot, who pays no attention to her feelings. Morgan ends up having Arthur's baby, Mordred, while remaining unloved and forgotten. While the two men obsess over Guinevere, Morgan must face her wrath. Guinevere does everything in her power to make Morgan's life miserable. Out of revenge for his mother's plight mixed with lust for power, Mordred declares war on Arthur. Mordred, who was never recognized as Arthur's legitimate heir to the throne, was misguided by Arthur's enemies. The misunderstood and troubled Mordred only wishes to bring peace to his own people, believing that Arthur stands to oppose him. In the meantime, Lancelot betrays Arthur with Guinevere. Mordred too falls in love with Guinevere and upon finding out about her relationship with Lancelot, he tried to destroy him. This puts Mordred in opposition to his mother, who deeply loves Lancelot. Morgan forsakes her priestic calling to stop her son from plotting against Lancelot and warring against his father, ultimately failing in the task...
